FAH President and CEO Chip Kahn released the following statement after officials announced Medicare should be solvent until 2031:
“Medicare beneficiaries can feel a bit more secure today after the announcement that the program’s solvency has been extended by three years.
“While the deadline has moved, the ultimate goal hasn’t changed. It is vital that policymakers and stakeholders use this additional time to find workable solutions that will enable the millions of seniors and disabled who depend on Medicare to maintain access to the essential physician and hospital services they may need.”
