Social Media Policy
Thank you for interest in interacting with the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH). We want your discussions, commentary, questions, and even criticism on FAH social media sites. We aim to maintain an informative, interactive and respectful community. Therefore, please keep what you post relevant, respectful and truthful, and do not spam the forum or any user thereof.
We may, in our sole discretion, remove any content or ban anyone who we feel violates these guidelines. In particular, personal attacks, inappropriate or hateful language, spamming, and excessive posting will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to delete excessive postings or any content that does not meet our guidelines. We also reserve the right to remove advertisements for commercial products, including those that violate Facebook’s and other social media outlets’ terms of service, are inaccurate or otherwise objectionable.
Please do not post any medical or personal information as your posting is public. Please note that we cannot publicly respond to any specific concerns or requests or in any way relate to any patient, treatment or diagnosis. Specific comments or questions should be addressed to your healthcare practitioner.
The comments expressed on any FAH social media site do not necessarily reflect those of the FAH. Any links to third party sites or content are provided for your convenience. The inclusion of any such links does not constitute our endorsement thereof, and we are not responsible for such sites or content. FAH’s social media sites are purely for informational purposes and are not a substitute for medical advice. You should consult with your healthcare provider regarding any medical condition.
By posting on a FAH social media site, you hereby acknowledge and agree that all postings are public, and you expressly grant to the FAH the right to use such posting for promotional and other purposes.
