The Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) announced today that Ardent Health Services President and CEO Marty Bonick will be the organization’s Chair for the 2022 calendar year.
Serving with him will be a new slate of Board of Directors, which is comprised of the executives of FAH’s member companies. Bonick is taking the gavel from 2021 FAH Chair Dr. Prem Reddy, Chairman, President and CEO of Prime Healthcare Services.
“Marty Bonick has a proven track record of advancing patient care and innovation in hospital and health care services. His wide-ranging experience in our field brings a valuable perspective as our Board’s new leader. With hospitals continuing to confront the COVID-19 crisis, health care will remain a top policy priority for Washington in this pivotal election year. With Marty at the helm, FAH is well-positioned to meet the challenges that the new year brings,” said Chip Kahn, FAH President and CEO.
“I am honored to serve as Chair of the Federation as our nation’s hospitals continue meeting the unprecedented challenges created by the pandemic and saving lives,” said Bonick. “I look forward to working with my colleagues on the Board and the FAH team as we navigate the COVID-19 crisis and support health care providers’ ability to care for their communities. This organization’s priority has always been to ensure that patient care is at the forefront of federal health policy, and I am confident we will make our voices heard in 2022.”
