Issues & Advocacy
Representing more than 1,000 tax-paying hospitals across the United States, the Federation of American Hospitals is committed to providing the most effective advocacy and highest quality policy work for each and every one of our members. The FAH advocacy and policy experts work diligently on federal issues to ensure the most effective and sound policies are implemented, ensuring access to quality health care for all patients.
Hospitals are a pillar of the communities they serve, in addition to serving as an economic engine and creator of jobs. The FAH is proud to serve as a clearinghouse of information on policy for our members. On the following pages you will find the FAH positions on a host of health care policies and programs.
For further information on the legislative documents the FAH has submitted to Congress and the Administration, please visit our For The Record section of the site.
