FAH’s Hometown Hospital is a local advocacy initiative that brings Members of Congress and Congressional staff into hospitals in their home districts to get a first-hand look at the vital community services FAH members provide.

This initiative is critical to the Federation’s efforts to develop and build relationships with key legislators by connecting policy issues in Washington with the experiences of local hospitals and the patients they serve.

The Federation invites you to participate in this initiative by coordinating with us to host Hometown Hospital visits at your facilities.

FAH provides the following support and resources for Hometown Hospital events:

  • Event Coordination between the Hospital and Member of Congress
  • FAH Staffing
  • Talking Points
  • Press Releases
  • Letters to the Editor
  • Social Media Content
  • Issue Briefs
  • Infographics

Your participation is essential to the success of this initiative. We look forward to working with you and your local hospitals to further our mission – advancing public policy on behalf of taxpaying hospitals and health systems and ensuring patients and communities have access to high-quality, affordable health care.
