FAH Welcomes Adam Broder as Senior Vice President, External Affairs

The Federation of American Hospitals is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Broder as Senior Vice President, External Affairs. He is joining the Federation on December 13th.

“Heading into a pivotal election year, we are privileged to add someone of Adam’s caliber – and extensive knowledge of health care policy – to the Federation team. With more than 15 years of experience spearheading successful campaigns in both the political and private sectors, Adam’s leadership will build on the important advocacy FAH undertakes on behalf of its members and the patients we serve,” said Chip Kahn, FAH President and CEO.

Adam’s new role includes responsibility for the Federation’s advocacy and coalition strategy. He will also oversee all communications functions for FAH and manage the external affairs team.

During his career, Adam has held a wide range of positions both in politics and the private sector. He most recently served as Managing Director in the public affairs practice at FTI Consulting, where he designed and executed multistakeholder advocacy campaigns, including for hospitals and health systems facing political, regulatory, and reputational challenges. Prior to FTI, he held several roles at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, including as Research Director and Strategic Communications Adviser.
