Adam Broder

Senior Vice President, External Affairs

As Senior Vice President, External Affairs, Adam Broder leads FAH’s advocacy, communications, and coalition strategy.  

Adam has more than 15 years of experience in public affairs advocacy, crisis communications, and political campaigns. Prior to joining FAH, he served as Managing Director in the public affairs practice at FTI Consulting, where he designed and executed multi-stakeholder advocacy campaigns, including for hospitals and health systems facing political, regulatory, and reputational challenges.  

Previously, Adam was a senior campaign strategist for the Democratic Party and served as Research Director and Strategic Communications Adviser at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (“DCCC”), where he developed strategies to drive local and national press engagement for campaigns in nearly every state. Adam also provided counsel to members of Congress and their campaigns on reputation defense strategies against political attacks, voter and media engagement, crisis communications, and effective earned and paid media plans.  

Adam graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Religion and a concentration in Political Science.
