FAH Welcomes Don May as Senior Vice President, Policy

WASHINGTON – The Federation of American Hospitals is pleased to announce the addition of Don May as Senior Vice President, Policy. Don will join the Federation on December 14th.

“We are thrilled Don May is joining the Federation team. With over two decades in health care, he is one of the top health policy experts in Washington. As we continue to fight COVID, Don’s experience makes him uniquely qualified to hit the ground running to enhance our efforts on behalf of our patients and the hospitals that serve them – now and into the future,” said Chip Kahn, FAH President and CEO.

During his career, Don has worked across the health care spectrum in Washington – both at major associations and well-regarded consulting firms.

Most recently he served as executive vice president, payment, and health care delivery for seven years at the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed).

Before AdvaMed, Don served as a managing director at the Farragut Square Group and spent 12 years as vice president for policy at the American Hospital Association. He has also worked at The Lewin Group.

Don has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ohio University and a Master of Public Administration degree from The Ohio State University.
