Marilyn Tavenner has been a great leader of CMS through extremely tumultuous times.  She is a committed public servant who has brought sound management to the agency and contributed to the development of strong policy for Medicare, Medicaid, and the ACA implementation.  It has been a pleasure working with her as head of the agency.  On many occasions, she has been willing to think outside of the box to find effective solutions.  The impact of her good work leaves a legacy she can be proud of, and I commend her for her tireless efforts throughout her tenure.
