WASHINGTON - FAH President and CEO Chip Kahn released the following statement after the swearing in of our nation’s new President and Vice President:

“We congratulate President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris on their inauguration today!

“There is no doubt we need strong new leadership to guide our nation through the rest of the pandemic and beyond - President Joe Biden is already proving he is up to this monumental task.

“His recently unveiled vaccination proposal and COVID relief legislation show he has a well thought out strategy to get us through this crisis. President Biden is also putting together a smart, accomplished health team that I am confident will keep access to coverage and quality care at the forefront.

“We look forward to forging a strong relationship with President Biden and Vice President Harris and their Administration as we all work toward our shared goals of defeating COVID-19 and achieving health coverage for all Americans through the ACA framework.”
