Andy Slavitt is a great choice to be nominated for Administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). He has vast public and private sector experience which he can bring to bear as leader of this agency so critical to health care financing and delivery in the United States.
The Federation of America Hospitals urges the Senate to act swiftly to confirm Mr. Slavitt as the next CMS Administrator so that America’s critical health care programs will have the true benefit of a strong and experienced leader. The beneficiaries of Medicare and Medicaid, as well as those now covered under the ACA, will greatly benefit from Andy Slavitt as Administrator.
