The Federation of American Hospitals applauds the members of the U.S. Senate who voted today to support The Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (H.R. 2).
Hospitals are pleased to support this historic legislation that eliminates unpredictability for our caregivers and patients, as well as the need for further payment patches which have been offset by unsustainable hospital cuts. With the enactment of H.R. 2, Medicare patients will have the certainty in access to the quality care they expect and deserve.
