The principle objective of the Federation of American Hospitals (FAH) is to foster the public good through the creation and delivery of quality health care for all people.
The FAH members include investor-owned hospitals and other organizations involved in the delivery of health care services that share a common philosophy of providing high quality, affordable health care, through free enterprise.
The Federation of American Hospitals:
- Acts as the spokesperson and representative to Congress, the Administration, media, and academia for investor-owned community hospitals and health systems.
- Supports the efforts of its members to broaden their responsibilities to meet health needs in communities across America.
